Cannabis Startup ‘Hemp Horizons’ Raises INR 2 Cr In Seed Funding
Hemp Horizons, a Cannabis startup, has raised Rs 2 crore as part of its seed funding round led by Mumbai Angels Network with participation from AngelList.
Renowned national and international angel investors like TradeIndia CEO Bikky Khosla also participated in the funding round.
As per the startup, the funding will be used to launch and market cannabis extracts second-gen hemp seed products, which will further help solidify the company’s position in the market.
Started by Rohit Shah, Kartikey Dadoo, and Kanishk Yadav in 2017, from a B2B to a B2B2C company, Hemp Horizons is a zero-waste, carbon-negative pioneer in the domestic hemp industry that has grown considerably over the last few years.
Talking about the funding, Rohit Shah, CEO and Co-founder of Hemp Horizons, said,

Hemp Horizons is a GMP certified, and USFDA registered hemp seed processing company. From hemp manufacturing to retail brand, Hemp Horizons plans to add two new hemp seed-based products in its product range shortly.
