To boost the Indian startup ecosystem, the Confederation of Indian Industry has signed an MoU with Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International of Japan (ATR).

ATR Japan is funded by the Japanese ministry of education, technology, culture, science, and sports.

For promoting the Indian Startup Ecosystem, ATR has partnered with SeekersBase Japan to raise $100 Million. The raised funds will be used for investing in 20 Indian early-stage to Pre-Series A startups.

Both organizations (ATR and SeekersBase) have also partnered with NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies).

The startups who are interested can submit their pitch deck by 28 March, accompanied by a 2-minute pitch video.

Apart from India, Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International of Japan will also be looking at startups from Israel, Spain, Canada, Japan, the US, and Africa. ATR has decided to invest in up to 50 startups through an acceleration programme.
