Nobel Hygiene Raises Rs 132 Cr From Existing Investor Sixth Sense Ventures

Nobel Hygiene, a hygiene products manufacturer, has raised Rs 132 crore in its Series C funding round from existing investor Sixth Sense Ventures, a domestic consumer-centric venture fund.
The firm plans to use the funds to power its dreams of becoming an absorption hygiene products giant.
Nobel Hygiene | Disposable Hygiene Care Products
Founded by Kamal Johari in 2000, Nobel Hygiene is one of the leading disposable hygiene care product manufacturers in the country.
Speaking about the development, Kamal Johari, MD and CEO of Nobel Hygiene, said,
“Now that our factory expansion in Gujarat is complete, we are poised to manufacture more, better, and faster to meet increasing demands across the country. This, alongside the investment, will help us progress towards our goals in the coming years, making up for the COVID slump the industry experienced in the last few years. I trust this association will be highly beneficial for all the stakeholders of Nobel Hygiene.”

World-class Hygiene Products
Headquartered in Mumbai, Nobel Hygiene introduced adult diapers to the Indian market. Over the years, the firm has continuously innovated to create world-class hygiene products for adults under the brand name ‘Friends’.
Also, it has a vast product range of baby care products under the brand name Teddyy and Snuggy (a brand it acquired from Godrej in 2018) and in the sanitary pads category via RIO Pads.
Commenting on the development, Nikhil Vora, Founder & CEO of Sixth Sense Ventures, said,
“Nobel fits perfectly well into the Sixth Sense thesis of betting on first generation founders….we have been big believers in this category, one of the few consumer categories that ensures high frequency, brand loyalty along with a long consumer lifecycle.”
As per Nobel Hygiene, technical understanding and focus on continuous innovation have enabled the firm to grow at a 23 percent CAGR in the last three years. It is on track to hit Rs 1000 crore in revenue at the close of this financial year.
