XR Central, a metaverse startup, has raised $250,000 in a seed round led by several angel investors. These angel investors include fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, Netprophets Cyberworks’ founder Amitabh Vira and Nitin Sethi, senior vice president and chief digital officer, consumer business, Adani Group.

The startup plans to use the funds to further its vision of its Do-it-Yourself metaverse building platform, MetaQube. It will use the capital to strengthen the development and design teams as well as expand into new territories. Additionally, the funds will help XR Central to accelerate product development as well as expand its global footprint.

Founded by Anshul Agarwal and Shrey Mishra in 2020, XR Central is an interactive tech studio focused on using the Metaverse to solve real-world problems. It helps enterprises create metaverse experiences that leave an impact.

Speaking about the development, Anshul Agarwal, Co-founder & Director of XR Central, said,

It is made for creators and enterprises who want to engage with their target audience in an immersive ecosystem.

As per Shrey Mishra, Co-founder & Director of XR Central, MetaQube will democratize the way immersive technology and the ecosystem has been looked at. The metaverse is an evolution of the gaming industry, stated Shrey.
