Xiaomi invests $5.9 Million in WorkIndia
Xiaomi has invested $5.9 Million in a Mumbai-based online recruitment platform, WorkIndia (on February 10).
For those who don’t know, WorkIndia is an online recruitment platform that enables blue-collar workers to find a job based on their skills.
According to Kunal Patil, founder of WorkIndia, the money will be used to grow its team. And raised funds will also be used in improving the tech side of the platform for enhanced matchmaking, predictive and real-time analytics for employers.
WorkIndia aims to organize jobs for people working in the blue-collar sector in a way that registered employers can connect to the right employees. Hence, improving their chances of getting a suitable job.
