UrbanPiper, a Bengaluru-based one-stop restaurant management platform, has raised $24 million in a Series B funding round led by existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Tiger Global Management and new investors Swiggy and Zomato.

The funding round also saw participation from several angel investors, including Ankit Nagori (Curefoods), Pankaj Chaddah (Shyft), Saahil Goel & Vishesh Khurana (Shiprocket), and Khadim Bhatti & Vara Kumar (Whatfix).

As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will be used to scale its product and engineering teams, strengthen its platform capabilities, and broaden its offerings to enable more services to restaurants.

Founded by Saurabh Gupta, Anirban Majumdar, and Manav Gupta in 2015, UrbanPiper offers a full-stack restaurant management platform to help restaurants operate and scale their businesses with minimal hassle.

UrbanPiper offers a comprehensive suite of products, including white-labelled and customizable websites and apps, a feature-rich CMS + CRM dashboard and more, enabling restaurant owners to manage and analyze their online presence.

Speaking about the development, Saurabh Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of UrbanPiper, said,

The Bengaluru-based startup claims to operate in 27,000+ restaurant locations across eight countries, including India and the Middle East.

UrbanPiper counts several restaurant chains, including McDonald’s, KFC, Subway, Cure Foods, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Rebel Foods, etc., among its user base. The B2B restaurant-tech startup processes over 18 per cent of all online food orders placed each month in India and has achieved 10X growth over the past two years.
