Reliance Jio and Microsoft Are Joining Hands To Shape Digital India
Reliance Jio and Microsoft are joining hands to shape Digital India with their cloud partnership.
Mukesh Ambani at Microsoft Future Decoded–Tech Summit in Mumbai, said that both companies (Microsoft and Jio) would work together and provide digitalization and cloud computing services for several businesses.
Talking about the partnership, Mukesh Ambani said,
“I am very excited about the partnership that Jio and Microsoft will have, and I think that will be as we look at this decade, a defining partnership.”
The partnership will target and benefit enterprises and small businesses who want to make a change to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Stating some employments facts about MSME, Mukesh Ambani said,
“Small, medium, and micro-enterprises provide 70% of India’s employment, they drive 40% of our exports and are critical to all the economic activity that we see. And they have done this with zero technical enablements and adoption.”
Mukesh Ambani also said that India is on the verge of becoming a “premier digital society.” And in the coming years, it will be among the top three economies of the world.
Speaking about the digital progress India has made over the years, Mukesh Ambani said India had changed a lot since the visits of previous US Presidents like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama.
