QwikSkills Raises Rs 3.85 Cr In A Seed Funding Round

QwikSkills, a cloud certification and skilling platform, has raised Rs 3.85 crore in a seed funding round led by Indian Angel Network (IAN), along with other investors.

The funding round was led by angel investors Manish Sinha and Naveen Gupta of IAN.

As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will be used for strategizing and acquiring the B2B2C segment with corporates, different educational institutes, universities, and colleges. QwikSkills also plans to enhance its workforce and hire a team of cloud experts, developers, and sales & marketing teams for B2B and corporate sales.

Founded by Varun Mahajan and Harit Verma in 2020, QwikSkills is a Gurugram-based online platform to help everyone learn the skills required to transform their cloud careers. This subscription-based practice platform offers monthly and annual packages for users to practice cloud computing and meet the tech industry’s challenges.

Speaking about the funding round, Varun Mahajan, Co-Founder of QwikSkills, said,

“With this investment, we are looking to enhance our current offerings and expand into the enterprise & B2B corporate model. We currently have hands-on cloud labs for AWS, Azure, and GCP. Moving forward, we’ll be expanding our offerings into VMWare, Salesforce, Alibaba, Huawei, IBM, and OpenStack for hands-on skilling.”

With this investment, QwikSkills also aims to expand in India and the global markets of Europe, the US, Asia-Pacific, and South-East Asia.

The startup claims to have helped 11,000+ users grow their tech skills with cloud-based technologies quickly and keeps a goal of reaching 50000 users along with major B2B associations.
