Mumbai-based online medical apparel brand KNYA Med has raised seed funding led by DSG Consumer Partners. The promoter family of Narayana Health and Cipla Health, among others, also participated in the funding round.
As per the startup, the raised funds will be used for product R&D, hiring across the company, as well as branding and marketing.

Founded by Abhijeet Kaji and Vanshika Kaji in 2021, KNYA Med is an online medical apparel brand that claims to have catered to over 200 medical institutions, including Narayana Health, Reliance HN Hospital, Jupiter Hospital and Jaslok Hospital.
The Mumbai-based startup ensures our medical superheroes can have high-quality garments to safely carry out their work.

The Mumbai-based startup has launched its line of EcoFlex scrub suits made of recycled polyester for medical professionals. As per the startup, currently, the brand is growing month on month at 50 per cent and supplies across B2B and B2C retail formats.

We are very excited about the growth potential of this category and the opportunity to build a category-defined brand in medical apparel.” To provide better human resources against the rise in disease rates, the government of India has been focusing on increasing the penetration of doctors and nurses. There are close to 8 million medical professionals in India, as per reports.
