Loco, a homegrown game streaming platform, has raised Rs 330 crores ($42 million) in a Series A funding round led by Hashed. The funding round also saw participation from Makers Fund, Catamaran Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, and existing investors, including Krafton, Hiro Capital, and Lumikai.

As per the startup, it will continue investing in the development of the Indian gaming ecosystem and nurturing the Indian gaming community.

Started by Anirudh Pandita and Ashwin Suresh, Loco is a homegrown live game streaming platform turbocharging the modern fan experience, enabling users to interact with streamers and enabling gamers to find their gaming clan.

The live game streaming platform has built highly engaged communities across various games, including BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, Grand Theft Auto (GTA), Valorant and Clash of Clans.

Speaking about the development, Anirudh Pandita and Ashwin Suresh, Founders of Loco, said,

Loco has hosted India’s largest tournaments in partnership with global publishers like Krafton, Ubisoft, Activision, and Riot Games. It houses India’s top esports teams like Godlike, OrangutanGaming, 7Sea esports, XO, Revenant Esports, 8bit, Global Esports, Skylightz Gaming, and Hyderabad Hydras.

Loco is in the process of building in-game integrations with other international partners. Additionally, the game streaming platform has teamed up with global giants like the NBA, Logitech, and Red Bull to run India-focused esports programmes.
