Electric Vehicle Startup EVage Raises Fresh Funding
Electric vehicle startup EVage has raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Ola Electric Co-founder and Senior Advisor Anand Shah.
And according to a statement, the funding round also saw participation from BryAir Director Varun Pahwa and DMI Group partner Anmol Nayyar.
EVage is also set to launch their first electric delivery van, and as per the startup, it is a completely ‘Made in India’ structure.
The startup plans to use the funding amount to build vehicles and deliver the initial orders.
Founded by Inderveer Singh in 2014, EVage is an electric vehicle and mobility tech startup. The Chandigarh-based startup is electrifying India’s logistics sector through its indigenously designed, and emissions-free electric commercial vehicles.
Sharing his vision and plan, Inderveer Singh, EVage Founder and CEO, said,
“We are working hard to make it easy for vehicle-dependent businesses to leverage clean mobility with purpose-built products.”
Talking about Anand Shah, Inderveer said,
“His experience with Ola Electric, BMW, and Audi will only strengthen our long-term vision to make logistics efficient for our customers and promote clean transportation.”
