Delhi-based Student Housing Startup Ezstays Raises $400,000 In A Seed Funding Round
Ezstays, a Delhi-based student housing community, has raised $400,000 in a seed round from Richard Rekhy (former CEO of KPMG) and other private investors.
As per the company, Ezstays will allocate funds to further refine its customer experience.
Launched by Vaibhav Khanna, Abhishek Kumar, and Kumar Gaurav in March 2019, Ezstays provides fully managed co-living spaces.
It operates more than 1,200 beds in educational hubs such as Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, New Delhi, and Bhopal.
Talking about the funding, Vaibhav Khanna, Co-founder of Ezstays, said,
“This student housing company is tightly managed and operationally sound. We are thankful to Richard sir for placing his faith in us, and we are sure of achieving increased investor confidence, which will enable us to reach new heights and gain more success.”

Ezstays started with 500 beds in their year of incorporation, and now it expects to reach 5,000 beds by the start of the academic session of 2021-2022.
The startup claims to offer all-round ease, comfort, and safety with new-age amenities.
The facilities provided by the startup include fully equipped gymnasium, library, games, on-call doctor, laundry services, snack machines, motivational classes, career counselling, mentorship programmes, personality development courses, opportunities for internship, and many more relevant services.
