BlissClub Raises $15 Million In Series A Funding Round

BlissClub, a community commerce brand known for making functional and comfortable active life wear for Indian women, has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Eight Roads Ventures and Elevation Capital.

Notable angel investors, including Swiggy ’s CEO Sriharsha Majety, Ghazal Alagh (Mamaearth co-founder), Vivek Gupta and Abhay Hanjura (Licious co-founders), also participated in the funding round.

The startup will use the funds to invest in R&D and product development, double its team size by hiring across functions, and channel development across its own app and offline.

Founded by Minu Margeret, a national level Ultimate Frisbee player, in 2020, BlissClub is a community-first women’s activewear brand that offers functional and comfortable active life wear for Indian women. The brand claims to be on track to becoming one of the fastest brands to hit the Rs 100 crore ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) milestone in India. Bliss Club’s team is also looking to build an app.

Speaking about the brand, Minu Margeret, Founder and CEO, BlissClub, said,

The community commerce brand has expanded across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook groups, to reach a large scale and now feels an app is the best way forward. As per the startup, BlissClub has seen 25X growth in just 10 months, having gone from raising a seed round in May 2021 to current Series A in less than a year.
