Gaming Startup Tamasha.live Raises Seed Funding Of Rs 2.5 Cr
Gaming platform Tamasha.live has raised seed funding of Rs 2.5 crore from 9Unicorns, Kunal Bahl (Co-founder and CEO of Snapdeal), and Rohit Bansal (Titan Capital and FirstCheque).
Investors like PointOne Capital, Ramakant Sharma (LivSpace’s Co-founder), Ankit Khandelwal (Co-founder of Gromo), Hotstar AVP Aakash Kuma,r and several executives Maninder Gulati, Abhishek Hota, and Rishabh Kumar also participated in the funding round.
Tamasha.live plans to use the funding to strengthen its team with cross-functional expertise. The platform also plans to invest in building a strong product and grow its initial user base.
Founded in 2020 by Siddharth Swarnkar and Saurabh Gupta, Tamasha.live calls itself a stealth-mode startup in the real money gaming space, with a vision to disrupt gaming through live social engagement.
Talking about the funding, Saurabh Gupta, Co-Founder of Tamasha.live, said,
