To make essential items available to the public and for the easy movement of delivery partners within Delhi and NCR region, the Delhi state government is now issuing an electronic curfew pass (e-pass).

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed the ongoing situation and said that the state is prepared for delivery and supply of essential items.

The E-pass is valid for the entire 21-day lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Delivery partners can apply for E- pass on Whatsapp.

The authorised WhatsApp mobile number of the District Magistrate is available on the website of the revenue department.

With the E-passes, delivery partners can deliver essential items without any intervention from the police officials, which they previously faced, citing lockdown.
