Cloud Kitchen Startup ‘Kitchens Centre’ Raises $500,000 In Seed Funding
Kitchens Centre, a cloud kitchen startup has raised $500,000 in seed funding.
The funding round was led by AngelList India and saw participation from investors like Jake Zeller (Partner-AngelList), Utsav Somani (Partner-AngelList India), Jonathon Swanson (Co-founder-Thumbtack), etc.
Founded in 2019 by Lakshay Jain, Kitchens Centre is a New Delhi-based cloud kitchen startup.
The startup provides services to cloud kitchens like fully equipped, ready-to-move-in, and compliant kitchens along with delivery, management and maintenance services
And as per the startup, it plans to use the funding to expand into new geographies to enable hyperlocal delivery.
Talking about the present situation and importance of hygiene, Lakshay Jain said,
“In the current environment, it has become all the more important to help brands deliver hygienic and healthy food to consumers. With the support of our new stakeholders, we will set up hygienic kitchens for brands across various cities with top-notch standards of sanitation.”
Kitchen Centre has centres across north India and is already working with brands like WOW! Momo, Asian Haus, BTW, Burgrill, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Wok Me, etc.
