Prada chooses Bangalore-based BigThinx for its first fashion tech accelerator program
Prada has chosen a Bangalore-based startup BigThinx for its first fashion tech accelerator program.
BigThinx works by creating a personalized 3D virtual avatar from 2D images for fashion brands and their customers. BigThinx with its two products ‘Lyfsize’ and ‘Lyflike’ uses artificial intelligence to accurately predict body shapes and sizes.
Chandralika Hazarika on the selection of their venture said,
“They (Prada) picked top 20 fashion tech companies globally out of 1200 companies and invited us to pitch to their 150 partners for two days. The 150 partners voted at the end of the day two to choose the top 10 companies. We were selected as one of them.”
