OSlash, an enterprise Software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, has raised $5 million in funding led by entrepreneurs from India and the US, including Kunal Shah (founder of Cred), Kevin Weil (President, Planet and former head of product at Instagram), Akshay Kothari, (chief operating officer, Notion) and Cristina Cordova, partner at First Round Capital, among others.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be used to set up hiring in the US, Europe and grow its search tool that pulls together information from various different applications.

Founded by Ankit Pansari and Shoaib Khan in 2020, OSlash is an enterprise URL manager that helps teams navigate, manage, and share information by internally naming all-important links. Facilitating cross-sharing of information in workplaces, the enterprise SaaS startup is used by over 3,000 teams, including Khan Academy, Twitch, and Cred. 

Speaking about the development, Ankit Pansari, Chief Executive Officer of OSlash, said,

OSlash enables every employee to access the right information in a fraction of a second using everyday words such as o/roadmap or o/daily-standup. The startup is also building a universal search on its platform, allowing employees to search for information within their workplace as easily as typing a query in Google.

Kevin Weil, ex-Head of product at Instagram, Twitter, and early investor at OSlash, said,

“The power to index links and retrieve information quickly is crucial for organizations that want to scale. I’m excited for OSlash to become the de-facto way employees at every company keep information at their fingertips.”

As per the startup, enterprises that use OSlash have seen a 25% uptick in productivity, making it the fastest way for teams to work in the modern workplace. In September 2021, OSlash raised $2.5 million from Accel Partners and several prominent angel investors. Currently, this enterprise SaaS startup is valued at $50 million.
