Sales Outreach Platform Futwork Raises $1 Million In Funding

Futwork, a sales outreach platform, has raised $1 million as a part of its seed funding round led by Blume Ventures and Simile Venture Partners.

Silicon Valley-based Riverside Ventures and angel investors, including Shivakumar Ganesan, founder of Exotel and Phanindra Sama, founder of Redbus, also participated in the funding round.

As per the startup, it will use the freshly raised funds to build out its products as well as grow its team. Additionally, Futwork will focus on enterprise customers with large outbound calling use cases.

Founded by Armaan Vananchal, Niranjan Nakhate and Sri Ganapathy in 2020, Futwork (formerly Frapp) is building the largest pool of trained tele-callers across India. The sales outreach platform enables businesses to set up and scale up their outbound calling teams at zero fixed costs. 

Commenting on the development, Sajith Pai, Director, Blume Ventures, said,

Enabling businesses to set up distributed tele-calling teams on-demand, Futwork is reimagining outbound tele-calling operations by driving output-based pricing, leveraging technology to train and deploy tele-callers from over 100 cities as well as to maintain quality.

The sales outreach platform helps companies to stay lean and save over 50% of their outbound calling expenditures for use cases such as lead qualification, user reactivation, and process drop-off management, amongst others.

Futwork currently offers its services to around 20 customers, including Upgrad, Meesho, Khatabook, Tata, Shyplite, Growth School and Cashify.
