Oncology Technology Startup 4baseCare Raises $2 Million In Pre-Series A Funding

4baseCare, a Bengaluru-headquartered oncology technology startup, raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by Mount Judi Ventures, growX Ventures, Season Two Ventures, First In Ventures, and a few strategic angel investors.

As per the startup, the oncology startup will use the funding to expand its genomic tests portfolio and increase its geographic presence across Asia. Furthermore, it will also focus on strengthening its R&D and operations.

Co-founded by Kshitij Rishi and Hitesh Goswami in 2018,
4baseCare is engaged in the development of affordable and accessible precision oncology solutions, using advanced genomics and next-generation digital health technology to personalize patient care in oncology.

The company has developed a unique set of comprehensive genomic panels which allow oncologists to chose the optimal targeted therapies for their patients.

Talking about the investment, Hitesh Goswami, Co-founder and CEO of 4baseCare, said,

“Access to advanced technology, which can help improve treatment and care, should be for everyone. Our vision is to leverage technology to develop affordable solutions to personalise patient care in oncology.”

With a presence in India and Singapore, 4baseCare is the first Asian healthcare organization backed by Illumina (the Global Genomics leader) through their Illumina Accelerator program.
