[Indian Startup Funding Weekly Roundup Nov 25 to Nov 29] ParkMate, Candytoy Corporate, and Three Others Raise Funding

Several Indian startups have raised funds across various categories from Nov 25 to Nov 29, Car parking solutions provider, e-commerce solutions provider, Lab-grown diamond startup and more. We will highlight four such transactions, including how these startups plan to use the raised capital.

ParkMate has raised $1.2 million in a new round led by early growth-stage venture fund Cactus Partners. 

As per the startup, the funds will be used to ramp up its growth trajectory, invest in its team to win business, streamline its operations, and continue to innovate new solutions. 

Co-founded by Abhimanyu Singh and Dhananjaya Bharadwaj, ParkMate offers smart parking solutions to shopping malls, office complexes, and Hotels in the corporate segment and to parking contractors for government parking spaces.

Candytoy Corporate (CTC), a global manufacturer of plastic promotional toys and confectionery, has raised Rs 110 crore (about $13.22 million) in its Series A round from a group of domestic investors including Abakkus Asset Managers, Girik Capital, Param Capital Research, Sixth Sense Ventures, and Viney Equity Market.

As per the startup, the funding will be used to expand its manufacturing capabilities and invest in building a strong talent pool to support its rapid growth. 

Founded by Gaurav Mirchandani, CTC supplies candy toys and promotional toys to over 40 countries across three continents, and this strategic move aligns with its vision of scaling operations to meet increasing global demand.

ShopDeck has raised $8 million in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Elevation Capital, Venture Highway (acquired by General Catalyst), and Chiratae Ventures also participated in the round.

As per the startup, the funding will be used to enhance its Al-powered technology stack, expand on-ground operations to support sellers across tier-II and III cities, and add talent.

Founded by Rishabh Verma and Harmin Shah, ShopDeck helps sellers to create their e-commerce store or website, manage logistics, payment and others for a business to sell products online.

True Diamond has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Titan Capital, along with participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl Ventures, and personal investments from Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, Aashka Goradia Goble, Mamaearth founder Ghazal Alagh, Abhishek Goyal, and Anmol Jain.

As per the startup, the funding will be utilized to build a skilled team, amplify brand visibility, onboard jewellery experts/consultants, designers, and sales teams, launch exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR, and invest in branding and marketing initiatives.

The company aims to redefine luxury in the jewellery industry.
