Several Indian startups have raised funds across various categories from Dec 30 to Jan 3, an enablement platform, B2B technology ecosystem for logistics, Guest management platform and more. We will highlight four such transactions, including how these startups plan to use the raised capital.

NumberOne Academy, an enablement platform focused on empowering SME entrepreneurs, has raised an investment of Rs 3 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by T.I.G.E.R Santosh Nair.

As per the startup, the funding will be used to expand its suite of business courses in Hindi and other regional languages and further enhance NOA into a Virtual Business Coach.

Co-founded in 2022 by Lajesh Kolath and Madhu Bhaskaran, NumberOne Academy is a platform for empowering Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with technology and business skills. The company offers a comprehensive learning platform featuring over 60 curated courses from more than 25 business coaches, covering growth strategies, sales, marketing, branding, finance, HR, operations, and technology. This AI-driven platform is complemented by in-person workshops and community events, creating a hybrid learning model that caters to diverse learning preferences.

CargoFL, a B2B technology ecosystem for logistics, has raised Rs 6.75 crore in its seed round, led by YourNest Venture Capital. 

As per the startup, the funding will be utilized to build a sales engine for growth in India, Southeast Asia (SEA), Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and North America, enhance product capabilities, including logistics & supply chain automation, and client onboarding & implementation across geographies.

Co-founded in 2017 by Deepesh Kuruppath and Wasim Khan, CargoFL is an AI decision intelligence platform for logistics and supply chain. The company serves as an AI operating system specifically designed for the supply chain and logistics industry with focus on large enterprise customers. It helps companies enhance their logistics operations by leveraging AI to address critical tasks such as transport management, route optimisation, demand forecasting, and real-time tracking.

Guest management platform Guestara has secured $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by Sanjay Ghare.

As per the startup, the funding will be utilized to develop cutting-edge AI-driven solutions that streamline operations, boost guest satisfaction, and uncover new revenue opportunities for hotels worldwide.

Co-founded in 2024 by Akshay Dekate, Kajal Makhija, Neelaksh Gupta, and Rajat Maheshwari, Guestara offers an AI-enabled guest management platform that centralizes and automates key hospitality functions. The company’s solutions span unified inboxes, contactless mobile check-in, omnichannel guest engagement, personalized upselling, and smart checkout – all designed to integrate seamlessly with leading Property Management Systems (PMS).

Mufin Green has secured an $18 million loan from the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

As per the startup, the funding will help to strengthen the position in the electric vehicle sector and expand range of financial solutions for everyone involved in the EV ecosystem from vehicle manufacturers and dealerships to service providers and individual customers.

Founded by Kapil Garg and Rajat Goyal, Mufin Finance, under the parent company Hindon Mercantile Limited, began financing e-rickshaws in 2016 in the Delhi-NCR region.
