“We started Pickkup because the sector was plagued with issues like no transparency among stakeholders, drivers giving false commitments and platforms with no verified drivers. Moreover, there was no way to track the orders,” Ankush adds.

So far, the bootstrapped startup has generated 21 lakh+ in revenue. The startup is growing organically, with clients coming from word of mouth and referrals. Till now, the startup has served more than 200+ customers and has done 2700+ rides with 3000+ requested drives.
With aggressive expansion plans, Pickkup.io plans to expand to few neighbouring states and add more vehicles to its fleet to meet the increasing demand. Additionally, the startup aims to raise 1.5 cr in funding, which will be utilised for fulfilling its expansion plans and developing its tech.
“We want to cover Tricity, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal. Additionally, we are looking to add cleaner fuel options for our fleet. In the coming months, our three-wheeler segment fleet will be EV (Electric Vehicle) based, which will reduce the ride fuel expense by 80%. Moreover, in the 4-wheeler segment, we are opting CNG based vehicles to lower down the cost by 50%,” Ankush says.
