Blod.in, a Chennai-based healthtech startup, has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding. The funding round was facilitated by Tamilpreneur, led by Shyam Siddarth (Founder & CEO) and Praveen Krishna (Co-founder & CMO).

Vijay Pravin (Co-Founder/CEO of bitsCrunch), Prabhu Rangarajan (Co-Founder of M2P Fintech), Savitha Ramasamy (Senior Scientist, Bhopan Krishnan (Founder of Outline Systems), Institute for Infocomm Research, A*Star), Mohan K (Co-Founder/CEO of IppoPay), Ashok Vardharajan (CTO of bitsCrunch), Karthick Sivaram (Co-Founder Backspace Tech), and Mohammed Farouk (Vice-President at Rela Institute), also participated in the funding round.

As per the healthtech startup, the raised funds will be used to scale up and invest in infrastructure, expansions, and technology stacks.

Blod.in | Making Blood Management More Efficient

Founded by Varun Nair, along with co-founder Adithya Vikram, Blod.in has partnered with several hospitals and blood banks across Chennai to revolutionise the healthcare sector while focusing on the haematology department.

Speaking about the development, Varun Nair, Founder of Blod.in, said,

Blod.in is working to transform and aid the healthcare system in providing patients with the human body’s lifeline – blood. It caters to the haematology department by connecting hospitals and blood banks.
