Gurugram-based Startup leap.club Raises $810K In Pre-Series A Funding
leap.club, a Gurugram-based community-led professional network for women, has raised $810,000 in a pre-Series A funding round led by Enzia Ventures, Kunal Shah, and its users.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Whiteboard Capital, Titan Capital and Artha India Ventures. Thirteen early members of the community joined this funding round, making the Gurugram-based startup one of the few startups to raise funds from its users.

Launched by Ex-Zomato executives Ragini Das and Anand Sinha in May 2020, leap.club is a community-led professional network for women that enables them to make new connections & relationships, join communities, and access exclusive experiences.
Additionally, the Gurugram-based startup organises 3-4 moderated discussions and skill-sharpening workshops with industry leaders every month. Past speakers have included Mukesh Bansal, Kunal Bahl, Shaheen Mistri, and Mohit Bhatnagar.
Speaking about the mission and plan, the founders said,
“We have a bold mission and ambitious goals to build the best professional network globally with a strong focus on community and women. We want to hit 100,000 members in the next couple of years and launch globally. We already have members from 12 countries and will build complementary product verticals like l&d and jobs as we scale.“
With 3,000+ members currently, leap.club has enabled thousands of new connections, members to form or join micro-communities, book executive coaching sessions. The Gurugram-based had earlier raised $380,000 as part of its seed round in July 2020, and its cap table boasts of 24 women angel investors.
Namita Dalmiya, Partner at Enzia Ventures, talked about the growth of leap.club and said the startup had shown a strong product-market fit and a sharp focus on delivering a quality experience for its members in less than a year.
