Equity Management Platform Qapita Raises $15M In Series A Funding
Equity management platform Qapita has raised $15 million in a Series A round co-led by East Ventures (Growth Fund) and Vulcan Capital.
The funding round also saw participation from NYCA and other existing investors, including MassMutual Ventures and Endiya Partners. Several existing angel investors across India, Singapore, and Indonesia, including K3 Ventures, Alto Partners, Partners of the Northstar Group, Mission Holdings, Anjali Bansal (Founder of Avaana Capital), and Sujeet Kumar (Co-founder of Udaan), invested in this round.
The startup plans to use the raised funds to add more products to its platform that will not only provide solutions for private companies and startups but also to investors, shareholders, and employees.
Additionally, Qapita plans to facilitate liquidity solutions via a digital marketplace enabling transactions for companies between their investors and employee stakeholders. The equity management platform also plans to amplify its client base across Indonesia, Singapore, and India.

Founded by Ravi Ravulaparthi (CEO), Vamsee Mohan (CTO), and Lakshman Gupta (COO) in September 2019, Qapita digitises the entire captable and ESOP data of any company, enabling them to engage with all their stakeholders in a seamless and meaningful way.
Qapita’s tech platform solves pain points relating to HR (ESOP), finance, and fundraising for private companies, investors, shareholders and employees.
Started with a team of seven people twelve months ago, Qapita has grown to about 65 people today across Singapore and India. Now, Qapita plans to scale up talent across India, Indonesia, and Singapore shortly.
