
Elder Care Platform Sarathi Healthcare Raises Rs 1 Cr In Fresh Funding
Elder care platform Sarathi Healthcare has raised Rs 1 crore in seed funding from ah! Ventures Angel Platform and other angel investors.
The funding round also saw participation from angel investors, including Aditya Masekar (Client Partner, Zensar Technologies), Frinson Francis Palathingal (Head of the growth strategy, planning, expansion and delivery at Swiggy), Harshvardhan Dhote (Engineer at CIDCO), Sumant Patil (Engineer at CIDCO), and Babu Nagappan, among others.

Founded by Amol Bagul, Aditi Poyam, and Lavender Singh Rathore, with accelerator partner Marwari Catalysts, in 2020, Sarathi Healthcare is working with a vision to provide optimum healthcare services in the shortest time to elderly patients.
Sarathi, meaning ‘companion’ in Hindi, aims to prioritise and deliver holistic care for the elderly by providing well-rounded preventive and emergency healthcare.
Speaking about the development, Amol Bagul, Founder and CEO of Sarathi Healthcare, said,
“We want to make the best use of the incoming funds to strengthen our presence, offerings and to achieve even higher customer satisfaction. By providing the right treatment by the right doctors at the right price, that too in the comfort zone of elderly people, we want to be a true health Sarathi (meaning Companion) which people from India and outside India trust for high-quality essential elder care services for our senior population.”

The agetech startup offers a range of services like lab tests, consultation at home, nursing services, emergency services, and appointment management, ensuring the utmost care and convenience for the elderly.
In May 2021, the startup raised Rs 1 crore in funding to support its 20x growth, with geography expansion, adding new towns and medical specialties.
