Saarthi Pedagogy, an Ahmedabad-based edtech startup, has raised Rs 16 crore in pre-series A funding round led by Pinnacle Investments.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be used for product enhancement, ramp-up of the technology team, content creation and expansion of the sales coverage. Additionally, the edtech startup would be looking to hire senior talent after this funding round.

Founded by Sushil Agrawal, Saarthi Pedagogy is a B2B edtech company serving schools as an academic growth partner and provides 360° solutions to schools on academic strategies, pedagogy, content and training. It provides a tech platform for all segments of K-12 education, offering products to improvise the pedagogy or the teaching methods and offers teacher training programmes.

As per the startup, it has witnessed significant success and caters to around 850 schools and 85,000 students. Additionally, the edtech platform expects to sign up 2,000 schools and 2,00,000 students for the academic year 2022-23.

In August 2021, edtech platform Saarthi Pedagogy had closed its first seed round of $1 million, with participation from JITO Angel Network, LetsVenture, Ecosystem Ventures and other angel investors.

With the advent of the pandemic in India, investments in the edtech segment have considerably increased. In just 3 months into 2022, several edtech startups, including Scaler Academy, Invact Metaversity, Emeritus, Learn Clue, CoLearn, Filo, Cialfo and Bhanzu, have raised funds.
