Indian Startup News

DotPe, a Gurugram-based online-to-offline commerce platform, has acquired Bangalore-based point-of-sale (PoS) startup Rista in an all-cash deal.

With this acquisition, DotPe has entered into the PoS segment and strengthens its bouquet of offerings to offline merchants. As part of the deal, Rista will continue to work as a standalone business and will be headed by Srini Vasan.

Speaking on the development, Shailaz Nag, Co-Founder & CEO at DotPe, said,

“We have partnered with Rista to offer an all in one solution. The coming together of DotPe and Rista further strengthens our business offerings.”

Founded by Srini Vasan in 2015, Rista offers an end-to-end Cloud kitchen management solution on one single platform and has around 1,500 merchants. It enables cloud kitchen operators to manage multiple brands from the same kitchen via its centralized dashboard. Additionally, they can reduce costs and have seamless data flow across all modules. Nirulas and PVR Cinemas are the top merchants of Rista.
