Deeptech startup Awiros has raised $7 million in a Series A round led by tech-focused VC funds Inflexor Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners. The funding round also saw participation from VedaVC, leading family offices, and UHNIs.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be used towards product enhancement, building its developer community, and business growth in India and overseas markets. Additionally, the funding will allow Awiros to augment the India and US teams, both in technology and sales-related functions.

Founded by Vikram Gupta and Yatin Kavishwar in 2015, Awiros is a deeptech startup that offers a device-agnostic Operating System (OS) for easy development and delivery of video AI applications.

The startup is making it possible for everyone to build as well as utilize the most advanced applications of Computer Vision and AI in their everyday lives using its app-oriented open and unified Operating System model.

Speaking about the development, Vikram Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Awiros, said,

The deeptech startup lets its users leverage the science of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to analyze and interpret videos, converting them into actionable data for various use cases.
