D2C Skincare Brand RAS Luxury Oils Raises $1.5 Mn Funding
RAS Luxury Oils, a skincare and personal care brand, has raised $1.5 million from Green Frontier Capital, a New York-based climate change- and sustainability-focused venture capital firm. The funding round also saw participation from existing investors.
As per the direct-to-consumer brand, the freshly raised funds will be used to work on product innovations, launch exclusive brand outlets, and focus on global expansion.

Founded by Shubhika Jain, Suramya Jain and Sangeeta Jain in 2017, Ras Luxury Oils is a skincare and personal care brand that offers 100% natural and organic products.
As per the D2C brand, it is transforming the premium beauty and skincare industry in India with its high-quality natural ingredients and potent scientific formulations.
Speaking about the development, Shubhika Jain, founder & CEO of RAS, said,

The ingredients used by the firm are researched and formulated in its in-house DSIR-approved R&D facility and manufactured in its government-approved facility, followed by packing and timely dispatch to the customers.
Its distribution and sales channels include its own D2C website, Nykaa and Amazon, along with other ecommerce platforms such as Flipkart and Blinkit, among others. The startup also supplies products to luxury hotels, spas and airlines.

Since its inception in 2017, the luxury D2C skincare and beauty brand claims to be growing 300% year-on-year.
In May 2022, the luxury skincare and personal care brand raised $2 million in funding from Sixth Sense Ventures to develop and launch new product categories, expand deeper into marketplaces, and establish an international presence.
