D2C Brand The Ayurveda Company Raises $3 Million In Funding
The Ayurveda Company (TAC), a Direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty and wellness brand, has raised $3 million in a funding round led by Wipro Consumer Care Ventures. Rahul Gupta of Tricity Technologies and Harsh Gupta of School of Design & Entrepreneurship also participated in the funding round.
As per the startup, the latest fundraise will help it in ramping up growth, production capabilities and venture into the retail sector in the next 12-15 months. Additionally, to spread knowledge about Ayurveda globally, the D2C beauty and wellness brand will also launch its own 3C App soon.

Founded by Param Bhargava and Shreedha Singh in 2021, The Ayurveda Company currently manufactures products across beauty ranges such as skincare, haircare, wellness, along with its presence in the natural makeup segment. Before starting TAC, Param and Shreedha had also launched another D2C ayurvedic beauty and wellness brand Khadi Essentials Healthcare.
As per Param, this partnership with Wipro will help the startup accomplish its goals and build a Legacy Ayurvedic Brand from India for the World. TAC will be gearing up to generate Rs 100 crore turnover, boost team and technology, expand market share, and strengthen its footing in the D2C space, added Param.
Including their own website, the D2C brand sells its products on eCommerce marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, PharmEasy, 1MG, and Zepto. The Ayurveda Company has already initiated its retail network across leading markets, including New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai.
This funding in TAC marks the seventh investment by Wipro Consumer Care Ventures in consumer startups. Other startups in which Wipro Consumer Care Ventures has invested includes MyGlamm, Ustraa, Power Gummies, LetsShave, Soulflower, and OneLife.
