Bollywood singer Sukhbir Singh has invested in Delhi-based beauty startup, Nature’s Tattva.
The startup announced that it has raised $150,000 from Bollywood singer Sukhbir Singh and Rakhee Singal.
The funding round also saw participation from angel investors like- Ajay Mahendru and Bharat Sheth, and Dhianu Das (Alfa Ventures).
Nature’s Tattva claims to be ‘India’s first and only DIY beauty brand‘. Revolutionising the way Indians use beauty products, the startup provides consumers with the raw material, with easy DIY tutorials, so they can make their own cosmetics, customized and suited to their skin and hair type.
Nature’s Tattva sells products online through its own website and other Ecom platforms like Nykaa, Amazon, and Flipkart.
This beauty startup has generated sales of Rs 1.6 crore in its first year. Nature’s Tattva plans to use this fresh funding to acquire talent, scale operations, and brand building activities.
Talking about the plans of the company, Karnesh Mahendru, CEO of Nature’s Tattva, said,
“Currently in year one, we were looking to build a brand, which stands for quality. We will now be launching some unique products that extend our commitment to organic and natural beauty products. Our focus will be to use zero chemicals.”
