Animall Raises Over Rs 100 Cr Funding, Valuation Reaches Rs 565 Cr
Animall, a startup connecting cattle buyers and sellers, has raised Rs 102.62 crore (around $14 million) in its Series B funding round from new and existing investors. With this funding, the startup has reached the post-money valuation of Rs 565 crore.
WEH Ventures, Omnivore, Beenext, Rocketship and individual investors such as Deepinder Goyal, Sahil Barua, Vidit Attrey, Sanjeev Kumar and Mohit Kumar also participated in the funding round.
Started by Anurag Bisoi, Libin Babu, Neetu Yadav, and Sandeep Mahapatra, Animall is a top tier VC funded online platform connecting cattle buyers and sellers in their area.
As per the startup, it is working with a vision is to build efficiencies in the dairy ecosystem in India using technology, data science, and design. With a strong core team consisting of alumni from IIT’s and IIM’s, Animall aims to bring a lasting positive change for millions of dairy farmers in Bharat.
Claiming to be the largest trading platform for cattle, the startup currently operates across major parts of the country, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
With this funding, the startup has raised three funding round in 15 months. In April 2021, Animall had raised funding led by Rocketship VC.
The startup operates through an Android app and a Hindi language website. Their app has crossed 8 million downloads since its launch in November 2019, as per Sensor Tower data.
